POSITION SUMMARY
The role of the File Clerk is to support the Finance team with their document filing requirements to ensure that documents are collected, organized and archived per requirements. This role will also work with our Billing Specialists to assist them in extracting accounts payable invoice documentation to support our project billings as required by our customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Organizes critical documentation by scanning, filing and archiving.
Responds to questions about documentation requirements.
Prepares all supporting documentation (such as matching receipts to invoices) for monthly invoices with a high degree of accuracy.
Ensures proper document filing as part of quality control.
Creates and updates electronic files and documentation in appropriate files/folders.
Assist Billing Specialist as directed.
Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma.
1+ years’ work experience in similar position.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Strong customer service
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
Understands the importance of escalating issues in a timely manner and to the appropriate person
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
Good organization skills
Proficiency in Excel
