Provide oversight of financial functions and business operations for the following units: Office of Medical Education (comprised of Admissions, Pre-clinical and Clinical Curriculum, The Clinical Simulation Lab, Medical Student Services, the Teaching Academy, Continuing and Interprofessional Education, and Affiliate and Educational Sites) and LCOM Office of Public Relations, The MPH Program and the Center for Aging. Responsibilities include development, implementation and monitoring of systems and processes related to financial management, which support and advance the mission and goals of the listed Dean’s Office units, working closely with HR team in LCOM. Financial management and business operations responsibilities include fiscal forecasting and managing annual budgets(within multiple fund groups) in excess of $8.0M, analyzing operating budgets to identify trends, ensuring expenses are within projected limits and supervising purchasing and receivables. Works directly with the Dean’s Office Financial Administrator.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree and two to four years of experience with demonstrated leadership/management, financial, technical, and operational experience required.
Ability to work independently.
Effective analytical, reasoning and judgment skills, interpersonal, communication, organizational, problem-solving and computer skills required.
Desirable Qualifications
Familiarity with PeopleSoft highly desirable
