Overview:
The primary purpose of the Human Resources Administrative Assistant is to provide support to all HR functions, including: Recruiting, Payroll and Benefits.

Responsibilities:
What You Will Do:
Serve as primary backup for Front Desk/Switchboard to include all daily breaks and lunches, vacations, and other absences
Manage and maintain all HR document filing.
Assist with Payroll and Benefit Audits by pulling documentation, scanning/copying, and preparing necessary reports
Work closely with recruiting team to provide assistance with recruiting functions to include scheduling interviews, working in the Applicant Tracking System, scheduling pre-employment testing and other appointments
Assist with on-boarding of new hires to include: preparing paperwork and documentation, sending communications, inputting data for new employees, assist in preparations of New Employee Orientation and follow-up
Assist with Special Project initiatives such as Service Awards, Annual Open Enrollment, Performance Management and other
Contribute to a positive work environment and promote the vision, mission and values of BMCOther duties as assigned

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent, with 3+ years of experience working in a corporate environment or secondary degree with 2+ years professional experience
Previous experience working in Human Resources, Accounting or other “data sensitive” area, preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Previous experience working in Applicant Tracking or Accounting systems, preferred
Detailed oriented and strong problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
