The Payroll Manager administers the organization’s payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations.
Processes payroll for biweekly Medical West payroll and monthly physician payroll.
Maintains all aspects of the Kronos Time & Attendance system and the ADP payroll module to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
Monitors the State and Federal tax records on a quarterly and yearly basis to ensure compliance (e.g., SUI, FUTA, 940, 941 and W-2).
Maintains and stores all payroll records in accordance with State and Federal Laws.
Ensures supervisors comply with the policies and procedures which directly apply to the processing of payroll.
Maintains and balances assigned schedules to General Ledger.
Prepares assigned journal entries on a monthly basis.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field and three years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
