Georgia-Pacific has an immediate need for a Staff Assistant to join our dynamic sales team at our Atlanta, GA headquarters. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong team player who has a willingness to learn and wants to make a positive impact to the company and the customers we serve.

What You Will Do In Your Role

Serve as primary administrative professional for Oriented Strand Board (OSB) Sales Group as well as provide support for the Plywood Group.
Answer incoming calls on a multi-line phone system and provide the most efficient customer service.
Assist the Home Depot Department with Forcefield Tape Orders
Provide administrative support to multiple Sales Representatives and Managers

Assist in processing invoices
Perform various accounting functions
Greet and assist visitors related to the OSB Sales Group
Prepare presentations
Monitor and manage calendar appointments
Coordinate, plan, and arrange meetings as requested

Assist and provide backup to other office personnel
Request and train temporary contract workers when necessary

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:
Demonstrated experience working in an administrative support role
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office

Ability to adapt to and quickly learn new systems
Ability to anticipate needs and creatively work toward a solution
Demonstrate problem solving, organizational and decision-making skills
Ability to organize and prioritize to effectively manage multiple tasks
Experience with Salesforce and GP Toolbox
Experience with accounts payables and accounts receivables
