Opportunity

Perform administrative duties of both confidential and general nature for Sales Directors in the KBNA business. Manage calendars, travel, and expense reports, as well as create reports and communications requiring self-initiative and ultimate accountability. Requires broad knowledge of Kohler Co.’s organizational structure and key stakeholders.

Specific Responsibilities

Set up appointment schedules and keep appointment calendars in order. Process and appropriately route telephone calls, interoffice mail, external correspondence, and electronic mail.
Function as the intermediary between the Business Directors and the staff, as well as other company personnel, answering routine questions, setting up appointments, scheduling meetings, etc.
Assist in the tracking process of Maximizing Performance Evaluations and quintile reviews, ensuring deadlines are met on a timely basis.
Analyze reports and bring to the attention of the Business Directors trends and variances from objectives.
Type letters, memos, and reports for the Business Directors from dictation and written work, plus compose these as required from general instruction for signature.
Maintain confidential records and files.
Schedule international and domestic travel arrangements to include ground and air transportation, hotel accommodations, and event scheduling.
Assemble and submit expense reports for the Business Directors. Review and approve expense reports for staff members reporting to the Business Directors.
Produce, assemble, and format key documents for New Product Schedules, Financial Plan, and Strategic Plan.
Aid in creating and editing PowerPoint presentations for the Business Directors.
Maintain records on approved and pending ACTs (Authorized Corporate Transaction).
Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Business Directors.

Skills/Requirements

High School Diploma and 6-8 Years Administrative Experience OR Associate Degree and 4-6 Years Administrative Experience.

Requires strong computer skills, flexibility, project coordination experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal and external contacts.

Team player with a strong service orientation and customer focus is a must.

Requires an individual who is professional, maintains confidentiality, and has demonstrated initiative and multi-tasking ability.

The successful candidate must be able to meet goals and objectives with minimal supervision.
