The Clerk Coordinator will work with the impaneling of the State Grand Jury which is a seven month process, and arranges for meetings of the State Grand Jury. Receives requests for direct contact with the Clerk of Court and prepares responses on their behalf where appropriate or directs requests within office or agency. Responds promptly and accurately to inquiries. Creates and maintains official court file records for criminal and civil matters. Record and write receipts for fine payments and maintain detailed accounts of bond status and records. Interact in a professional manner with jail administrators. Responsible for entering and monitoring a case list, as well as formally opening, maintaining, and closing files. Provides administrative support to the Clerk of Court and staff to include preparation of official correspondence, reports, notices and documentation pertaining to the Office. Receives mail, fax, telephone calls and visitors for the Clerk’s Office. Opens incoming mail and distributes documents in compliance with Clerk’s Office requirements. Assists with financial processes of the Clerk's Office, including juror payments, maintaining bank accounts and monthly reconciliations. Will assist with complex and highly sensitive projects and other duties as needed.

Will be sworn to State Grand Jury secrecy. Minimal travel may be required.

Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma and four years of administrative experience.
