Logistics Admin, Backoffice

We are seeking a Logistics Admin to join our Order Management team. In this role, you will work with and communicate cross-functionally with internal customers, multiple departments, and teams at all organizational levels. You have experience in managing and completing multiple tasks and projects which require planning and judgment. You successfully meet and exceed deadlines and continuously identify solutions to challenges and make improvements to processes.

As part of the Order Management Team, you will be a part of a primarily remote multi-site team. A high level of independence is required for this role. We are seeking an individual who is resourceful and takes the initiative to contact colleagues to find solutions and answers when needed. This team monitors daily backlogs of orders shipping from our Cedar Creek site and works closely with other Back-office Logistics teams globally.

Principal duties and responsibilities
Maintain sales orders to ensure they are updated as changes are implemented.
Attend meetings virtually and/or on-site to obtain up-to-date information relative to the ability to ship orders.
Provide accurate, timely, and up-to-date order status to requestors via email, database tools, verbally, or other methods.
Report proactive order status in times of heavy backlog or longer than expected lead times.
Processes Internal orders, No Charge orders, and other non-standard orders and ensures timely shipment and reporting.
Ensure sales orders are rescheduled and shipments are processed as material becomes available.
Work with CSRs globally to ensure order accuracy, and timely removal of delivery blocks preventing shipment or billing blocks preventing invoicing.
Adapt to changing priorities, multi-task, and prioritize work to successfully accomplish job duties.

This role will work remotely but the candidate must be available to work onsite in Memphis.

Required Qualifications/Experience:
High School diploma or General Equivalent Diploma (GED) required. Some level of further education/formal training preferred.
2+ years relevant experience
Requires accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize most critical action items/orders.
Experience creating and maintaining spreadsheets/documents in Microsoft Word/Excel
Able to navigate databases to obtain/update information. MRP/ERP system experience, SAP experience a plus
Willingness to work overtime or varied schedule as required. May be asked to travel <10%.

Desired:
Knowledge of Bills of Materials and supply and demand planning
Experience in Customer Service or Planning
