Program Description
Ready to Start runs four half days per week for five weeks from June 20th, 2022 through July 21st, 2022. Children receive four hours of service a day for twenty days. The focus of the instruction is on 21 identified target skills that kindergarten teachers identified as critical skills for kindergarten students to have exposure to as they start their kindergarten year. Specific lesson plans and a structured daily routine ensure that the identified critical skills are the main focus. The classroom ratio is 15 children with one Classroom Teacher and a Classroom Education Assistant.
Requirements
Must meet the requirements of two years post high school education or higher, 48 credits, CDA, or be able to pass a standardized test approved by the state of South Dakota.
Salary Schedule
2021-2022 Classified Staff Salary Schedule - Level G, starting at $15.78/hour
Pay Day
Last working day of each month, in accordance with the payroll cutoff schedule.

Monday through Thursday (Note: July 4th week will be Tuesday through Friday schedule)
June 20th, 2022 - July 21st, 2022
Hours: 7:45am - 12:30pm
