NYCOA has an immediate opening for a motivated, proactive Business Development Specialist to join their team in Manchester, New Hampshire.
The NYCOA Business Development Specialist will drive new sales growth for NYCOA Specialties PA and PEBA business within the automotive industry by establishing NYCOA as a preferred supplier to the Top Automotive Tiers and Automotive OEMs in the NAM region.
Develop new contacts and build multi-level relationships at the leading Automotive Tiers and OEMS to expand NYCOA Specialties PA and PEBA business’ network within the automotive industry. Engage with the key stakeholders at the Top Automotive Tiers to create a robust new business pipeline for NYCOA’ Specialty products through a value selling approach promoting the unique offerings of NYCOA Specialties PA, PEBA, and compounds.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify new business opportunities at Top Automotive Tiers and OEMs in the NAM region.
Drive the specification and design process for new automotive applications for NYCOA Specialties PA and PEBA business by collaborating with internal teams to gain support for new applications/programs.
Lead and manage highly complex technical application development projects at Top Tiers/OEMs.
Realize technical approvals for materials (applications).
Proactively manage opportunities in CRM tool, ensuring timely closure of new programs and realization of new sales to deliver financial results per the operating plan.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive sector.
Performance Polymers portfolio knowledge.
Sales + business development management experience.
Account management experience.
Project management experience.
SCHEDULE: This is a full-time, salaried position that starts immediately.
TRAVEL: 25%-40% Moderate travel is expected to explore and validate markets and customers for NYCOA product commercialization.
REMOTE/LOCAL: The NYCOA facility is located in Manchester, NH, so proximity to the plant will be a benefit. Remote work will be considered and weighed with other qualifications of every candidate.
COMPENSATION: Competitive salary, commensurate with knowledge and experience of specialty polymers, engineered nylon, and end-markets for long-chain Nylon chemistries.
