The Hawaiian Experience Spa concept was brought to Arizona in 2007 by our founders after they studied massage in Hawaii. We have since expanded and currently have a spa in Scottsdale, Chandler and Goodyear with more opening soon! We are the number one rated day spa in the Phoenix, AZ area because we commit to our ohana (employees) and our ohana commits to helping fulfill our Spirit of Aloha Commitment. The commitment not only involves us all helping the guests, it equally involves us helping each other.

The spa is in the process of executing a plan to immediately open three new locations. To facilitate this, as well as, the spas continued aggressive growth, several executive positions are being added to the ohana.

Job Summary

This is an excellent opportunity to be a decision maker in a growing company that is determined to be the best. This position reports directly to the CEO and will transition into Chief Operating Officer with stock options after the execution of the spas immediate expansion plans. It is a unique opportunity to join the company while it is small and for you to help Hawaiian Experience Spa grow into an industry leader.

As the Director of Operations, your primary role is to oversee the operations of all Hawaiian Experience Spa locations. This includes ensuring that the spas operational plan is properly executed on every level, as well as, improving operational efficiently, operating procedures/manuals/checklists/etc.

The primary role of the Director of Operations at Hawaiian Experience Spa is to ensure that

Oversee all Spa Operations
Translate existing operations into appropriate operating manuals that facilitate the consistent execution of the Hawaiian Experience across new and existing locations

Responsibilities and Duties

Oversee the operations of all Hawaiian Experience Spa locations
Continue to refine operations for ease of replication, execution and operational efficiency
Expand upon existing tools and produce new tools (i.e. manuals, checklists, etc.) to provide structured and consistent execution of the Hawaiian Experience Spa vision
Provide strategic advice to the CEO and make strategic decisions on all areas affecting spa operations
Take absolute ownership of all areas affecting employment and perform whatever duties are required to achieve the goals set by the CEO and the executive team.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will be driven, disciplined, possess a desire to grow and be the best, and have a clear ability to fill the top operations position.
