Job Posting Description
This Operations Assistant will be responsible for:
Providing support for clinical operations for the General Medicine Department to resolve equipment, supply, safety, compliance, operational, and cleaning issues.
Providing positive and effective customer service that supports departmental operations.
Performing administrative responsibilities as assigned, including interfacing with patients, families and staff, answering phones and nursing call system and managing patient information.
Serving as a liaison with other departments for problem resolution.
Maintaining Regulatory and Safety Compliance to include:
Equipment checks.
Fire and life safety.
Monitoring of compressed gas cylinders.
Weekly audits, etc.
Maintaining equipment and furniture inventory, including overseeing medical equipment and interfacing with Health Technology Management for issue resolution.
Ordering and organizing supplies/materials to maintain daily operations.
To qualify, you must have:
A High School degree or equivalent.
1 year customer service, administrative, or experience in a health care setting.
