This position is located at our Great West Center in Billings, MT.


The Operations Processor I will have the ability to perform a variety of operational tasks for a moderately complex process or function. Takes responsibility for the entire process from receipt of work to resolution and closure. Tasks require coordination of information among various operational areas and customers. Uses multiple online systems. Receives and reviews incoming work, contacting appropriate resources as needed. Enters information into the asset tracking system verifying product and accuracy. Resolves issues using multiple resources and records. Works under general supervision following established procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; other duties may be assigned.

Perform all tasks associated with processing incoming requests for facility and technology items.

Maintain understanding of technical equipment in support of the FIB Technical Group.

Complete all assigned actions related to request in accordance with established procedure.

Continually monitor logistics work queue and generate purchase orders for items to be ordered from suppliers.

Address employee questions concerning technical equipment requests and order processing.

Perform general catalog maintenance for facility and technology items.

Maintain equipment and consumable catalog items to ensure complete and accurate setup and minimize duplicate items.

Maintain request catalog items and ensure proper setup with appropriate workflows.

Maintain catalogs to ensure up-to-date information removing obsolete items.

Understand bank supplies in support of the FIB Store Platform.

Support the administration of the online stores monitoring products and usage.

Address employee questions concerning products and orders within the store working closely with the vendors.

Provide backup and support for the shipping & receiving function.

Support all tasks associated with the staging, distribution and destocking of technical equipment and stock with assistance according to established procedures.

Support the moving of product to and from inventory storage for distribution.

Support the packaging and shipping of products to supported branches and departments through the UPS package processing system.

Support vendor relationship management efforts.

Understand vendors and their shipping methods.

Research and resolve routine issues and provide solutions with assistance.

Understand assigned duties and tasks and act as a resource to others.

Ensure work products are complete, accurate, timely, and understandable.

Maintain ownership and follow-through of issues to ensure they are fully resolved.


High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Experience or knowledge of technical equipment or banking experience preferred. Working knowledge of personal computers including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer. Experience with programs Easy Vista, Service Now and Oracle preferred.


Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance Instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations.


Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.


Accurately and efficiently perform both routine and non-routine duties and functions associated with the daily activities encompassed in the Purchasing Department. Duties and functions will include the ability to prioritize and balance the workload increasing efficiency across the team. Ability to utilize procedural, analytical and research processes efficiently.


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and sit. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
