Piper Companies is seeking a Healthcare Business Analyst to join an innovative Healthcare Software Company for an employment opportunity. The Healthcare Business Analyst will work remotely to educate customers on best practices and optimal use of company products to improve efficiency and satisfy clients’ defined business requirements.
Responsibilities of the Healthcare Business Analyst include:
- Becoming a subject matter expert, as well as a trusted client advisor for company software products
- Facilitating customer requests within their scope and act in a program quality role while monitoring the timely delivery based on customer objectives and departmental priorities
- Working closely with stakeholders, including business unit personnel, business experts, and other staff, vendors, and contractors to understand and document project business and system requirements
- Proactively conducting interviews with all stakeholders to elicit detailed functional and system requirements, managing those requirements throughout the course of the project
- Ensuring unique customer needs are properly translated into business terms and communicated across all applicable domains
- 3+ years of experience in a client-facing, business consulting/product implementation/business analyst role (7+ years for principal level)
- 3+ years of prior health plan industry, including but not limited to HMO, PPO, POS, MAPD, Medicare, Medicaid, Dental, etc. experience (7+ years for principal level)
- 3+ years of ITS/BlueCard experience a plus (7+ years for principal level))
- Experience with Health Plan Claims and Benefits Administration Software
- 4 year bachelor's degree in related field
- Salary Range:
o $150,000 - $170,000 annual salary for principal level
