The RLRP Ops Associate exists to provide administrative services to participants and beneficiaries receiving reoccurring payments from OneAmerica, specifically pension, annuity and lump sum payments under PRT, GVA, Unallocated and Transamerica plans. This role adds value to the company by servicing participants that support the growing PRT and DB business. Additionally, the processing of administrative tasks performed by this role helps to meet service level agreements and divisional goals. These functions support OneAmerica's goal of being there when our customers need us most.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform administrative tasks for annuities, pension benefits and lump sum payments for deferred annuity, defined benefit and other retirement plans.
Review and respond promptly to requests from participants, beneficiaries and internal partners.
Process tasks related to managing a participants records, this includes basic data updates (address, EFT, tax withholding, etc), drafting correspondence and issuing replacement payments.
Set up basic annuities, lump sums and death benefits.
Perform quality reviews and ensure transaction balance in TRECs and process successfully in RLRP.
Build relationships with internal partners.
Work autonomously within established procedures with limited supervision.
Participate in process improvement projects, acting as process owner (identify updates and maintain procedures).

REQUIREMENTS:
H.S. Diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree or higher preferred
1+ years work experience in an office environment
One year or more of related work history within Operations, call center or financial services or similar role preferred
Ability to multi-task and maintain positive working relationships with internal/external partners.
Ability to identify issues and propose/execute solutions.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail to prioritize multiples priorities to meet deadlines.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of accuracy
Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background

Salary Band: 02B

As a condition of employment, OneAmerica requires that all new hires who receive a job offer on or after Jan. 17, 2022 provide evidence of vaccination against COVID-19 within the first week of their employment with OneAmerica, unless an exemption has been granted as an accommodation due to the individual’s medical condition, sincerely held religious belief, or other legal requirement. This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN.
