JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: Requires high school education, or equivalent experience.

Experience: 0-2 years of applicable experience.

Licenses/Certifications: Driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Technical Abilities: May need to have basic maintenance skills.

Autonomy/Direction: Ability to work independently with little or no direction: Translates management's desired outcomes into workable tasks and executes those tasks at his/her own discretion.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

60%: Routine cleaning: Performs general, routine custodial duties, to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper, soap and First Aid Kit supplies. Empties trash receptacles, recycling bins and shred bins in appropriate receptacles according to company policy.

20%: Maintenance: Performs routine maintenance to custodial equipment and supplies. Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.Performs cleaning func

10%: Ensures doors are locked after cleaning areas. Reports unusual security circumstances to management.

5%: As-Needed: May assist or perform snow removal activities and minor maintenance, such as replacing light bulbs, adjusting furniture, or other similar activities.

5%: Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. May assist in on-the-job training of new staff on routine procedures. Position is required to drive between sites periodically.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working Hazards: Occasionally works in an environment with potential exposure to fumes, dirt, noise, equipment movement dangers, vibrations, dangerous chemical/solvents, electrical shock, and inclement temperature extremes.

Physical/Mental Exertion Ability to perform heavy physical labor exerting up to 100 pounds of force on an occasional basis and up to 50 pounds of force on a frequent basis performing such tasks as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping and fingering.

Tools and Equipment: Ability to perform manual labor and equipment operation as described. Requires learning basic computer programs such as timekeeping and basic mobile-based applications.
