The Copywriter will report to the Senior Copywriter and Creative Director.
Job Overview
The copywriter is responsible for generating original work that functions as a seamless extension of our client’s brand. You’ll produce ad copy and content for various platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, along with longer-form blogs and emails.
The ideal candidate is a team-spirited, skilled, and imaginative writer with an ear for voice and an eye for detail. C Squared Social is a high-volume agency and writing quickly is a must in this role, as is the ability to nimbly adapt to the needs of clients from a wide variety of different industries.
Responsibilities and Duties
Write clear, concise, persuasive copy free of usage and syntax errors
Communicate with marketing strategists and other coworkers in order to bring projects to life
Headlines, wordplay, and ideas that will knock our socks off. That includes demonstrating the power of message, contextual relevance, and the symmetry between art and copy
Can work collaboratively (and solo, too!) in a fast-paced environment –– whatever it takes to get the job done and stay on-brand
Edit and proof copy as needed
Qualifications
Google Ads experience, including keyword planning (strongly preferred)
Bachelor’s degree (or portfolio equivalent) in creative writing, advertising, communications, or relevant field
Agency experience preferred
Exceptional research skills
Strong time management skills
