Description
JOB SUMMARY The HR Recruiter executes the full life-cycle recruitment process from sourcing, screening candidates, presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers, and ultimately present the offer and close the candidates. This role will also support the Director of Human Resources in recruitment processes and best practices to grow the company. The Recruiter is self-motivated to find top talent to assist the company in meeting its strategic goals. This highly visible position within our Human Resources team will need to network externally and internally, share our employer brand, and develop strong business relationships within the industry as well as senior management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Manages the company’s recruiting process including posting positions, candidate screening, selection, offer process and onboarding
  • Assists with the development of innovative activities to enhance and promote company brand.
  • Collaborates with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, job specifications, duties and responsibilities, competencies, qualifications, and skills.
  • Researches, identifies and recommends best practices for full cycle recruitment function, including alternative staffing strategies, and implements sourcing initiatives to assist in building candidate base.
  • Quickly and successfully builds an active candidate pipeline.
  • Handles confidential and non-routine information in a professional manner.
  • Develop/maintain contacts and act as liaison with schools, alumni groups, outreach organizations, users groups and other groups as necessary to meet recruiting objectives to include attendance at job fairs.
  • Proactive research of competitors to keep on top of the changes within the industry.
  • Possesses a high level of initiative & energy to achieve recruiting targets.
  • Actively pursues completing corporate recruiting requirements to include Doyon shareholder and other hiring initiatives and goals.
  • Works collaboratively with individuals at all levels in the organization in a team environment.
  • Assists with creating and revising job descriptions.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

  • Knowledge of Boolean, LinkedIn Recruiter and alternative search techniques
  • Ability to utilize various interview formats including phone, Teams video, remote panel interviews, onsite interviews, etc.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS.

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred
  • Two or more years of recruiting experience
  • Experience recruiting oil & gas positions preferred
  • Possess HR certification PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Possess a valid driver’s license

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
The majority of work is performed in a professional office setting with a wide variety of people with differing cultures, functions, personalities and abilities.
