Summary
Aspire Early Learning Academy is currently seeking to hire a full-time Preschool Teacher to educate 13 children ages 3-4 years old. The ideal candidate will be loving, patient, and have a desire to educate children. The work schedule will be Monday - Friday from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm with a 1-hour lunch break.
Duties
The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for the care and supervision of children within her classroom. The teacher will also be responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans, conducting developmental assessments, maintaining an age-appropriate classroom setting, and working with a productive team.
Requirements
The qualified applicant must have a minimum of six months of experience in a licensed early childhood facility, a high school diploma/GED, cleared SLED/FBI background, cleared Central Registry background, completed health assessment, and tuberculous test.
Nice To Haves
Optional qualifications to have, but not required upon hire, would include CPR/First Aid certification (must obtain within 30 days of hire), Early Childhood Education 101, Early Childhood Credential, and/or advanced educational degree in Early Childhood or related field.
