We are a new program started by experienced and idealistic educators. We are looking for creative and passionate teachers to help us build our community!
We believe in meeting the needs of all our community members, ensuring that staff feel supported and heard while we all do our best to provide for our families and engage in our neighborhood.
This is a 40 hour, salaried position starting at $19/hr with some scheduling flexibility. We operate on a Sept-June calendar with summer programming in order to provide full year education. Teachers are given the option of taking summers off!
We believe children are whole and right just as they are and our job as educators is to partner with families to guide and support their development, come join us!
Duties
Ensure the health and safety of students.
Coordinate and communicate with co-teacher.
Plan and implement curriculum.
Maintain open communication with families.
Document student learning.
Participate in goal setting for the program.
Attend and participate in staff meetings.
Attend board meetings if desirable.
Communicate with program director concerning needs, ideas.
Help establish and enforce program policies.
Ensure environment is kept clean and safe.
Participate in hiring and staff placement
