As a member of the Residential Life Leadership Team, provide information technology management for the department. Responsible for managing technical work within the department related to hardware/software infrastructure and technical vendor relationships. Work as an integral member of the Administrative Services Team and report to the Associate Director of Administrative Services. Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Technology or related field and five years related or specialized experience required. Excellent customer service and troubleshooting skills; strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, social justice, and fostering a collaborative multicultural environment. Strong working knowledge of personal computer hardware and operating system software. Including modern mobile platforms and other specialized hardware. Strong working knowledge of current Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office application suite, and Internet tools. Familiarity with Amazon Web Services, particularly S3. Strong understanding of SQL
Desirable Qualifications
Experience configuring and working on Linux-based environments. Exposure to both graphical and command line interfaces. Some knowledge of SSH, CRON, and Bash scripting is preferred. Knowledge of University policies and procedures desirable. Background in Student Affairs desirable.
