Responsible for preventive maintenance on building and equipment. Performs minor repairs and refurbishing.
Arcadia Retirement Residence location:
Full Time; Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:00pm
Full Time; Wednesday to Sunday from 2:00pm to 10:00pm
Full Time; Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 6:00pm
15 Craigside location:
Full Time; Sunday to Thursday from 7:00am to 3:00pm
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Performs preventive building maintenance & inspection responsibilities including picture hanging, drywall patching and repair, painting, furniture assembly and repair, basic plumbing, and other similar tasks
- Ensures that the building is kept in a safe and orderly condition
- Responds to emergencies
- Assists with parking duties as needed
- Basic preventative maintenance and carpentry skills
- One year related experience and/or training
- Excellent communication & people skills to interact professionally with residents & team
- Ability to work well alone or as part of a cohesive team
- Current driver’s license and a clear Abstract of Traffic Record
- Flexibility to work other days/times as scheduled and to attend required training
