Ensures claims can be processed timely to meet departmental goals by reviewing claims for proper information. Returns claims or requests missing information.
Description
- Investigate claims in order to provide information that is missing or cannot be determined by processors. Contacts providers and members to obtain information necessary to process claims.
- Screens, codes, counts, sorts, batches and logs all work to be distributed to staff. Ensures prompt and efficient distribution of work.
- Researches provider numbers on the claims system to ensure accurate processing.
High School Diploma or equivalent

On-site Position
Monday through Friday
Optional shift - 6:00am - 2:30p; 6:30am-3:00pm; or 7:00am - 3:00pm
