Utilize a restorative and social justice framework to create and provide the infrastructure to address landlord-tenant, roommate-to-roommate, and neighbor-to-neighbor conflicts involving UVM students. Provide training and skill building for students and student organizations focused on community building, conflict management, and repairing harm. Provide direct support and make appropriate referrals for students experiencing conflict that negatively impacts their wellbeing and ability to achieve academic success. Work collaboratively with UVM and community resources, including but not limited to UVM CARE Team, UVM Identity Centers, Burlington Community Justice Center, and Burlington Community Relations Liaisons to support students, families/guardians, and neighbors. Provide support for the office’s initiatives for safe and healthy neighborhoods. Develop an assessment regimen to evaluate the outcomes of the trainings and restorative interventions.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and three years of experience in conflict management required. Demonstrated commitment to fostering an equitable, socially just, and restorative environment. Must have skills in program development and assessment. Ability to create and lead effective programming for small groups. Effective communication and interpersonal skills required. Ability to work well in a team environment.

Experience working with a diverse group of individuals and communities desired.
