Manufacturing Leader

We are looking for a talented Manufacturing Leader to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Power Systems Business in Fridley, Minnesota.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Managing, developing and leading the daily activities of multiple production teams.

Being responsible for the daily activities of multiple production teams including managing team members, housekeeping, and meeting production targets.

Working cross functionally to recommend and engage in improving safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.

Providing guidance and feedback for team members in accomplishing tasks and goals; sets expectations and clarifies responsibilities.

Coaching and mentors team members.

Identifying training needs; develops and implements training plans.

Recognizing areas in which a process can be improved by properly implementing process improvement and waste reduction methodologies to reduce process cost and improve quality in current manufacturing processes.

Identifying, reporting and participating in actions to improve health and safety in order to build an interdependent culture and contribute to an injury-free workplace.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:
2/3 years supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment

Advanced skills and knowledge driving continuous improvement

Strong background championing health and safety rules and regulations

Experience within a result driven environment Drives results and consistently achieving results.

Ability to build strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals.

Strong multi-mode communication skills

Education, Licenses, Certifications

College, university, or equivalent degree required.
