Star Lumber & Supply Co., Inc. delivers confidence through our products and our people. The West Wichita location is seeking a Warehouse/Lumber Drive Associate to join our team.
The ideal candidate is a team player who is detail oriented with a strong desire to learn and succeed. This self-started will be ready to jump into the daily warehouse processes with a commitment to look for ways to become more efficient.
Our warehouse and lumber drive crew is critical in the execution of our daily operations servicing our pro customers.
Your typical day
- Pull orders for customer and assist with loading.
- Restocking warehouse inventory.
- Assure proper and timely completion of receiving activities.
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse.
. Requirements:
- Permanent authorization to work in the United States.
- 18 Years or older.
- Reliable transportation.
- Can lift 75 lbs. repetitively/100 lbs. in a team lift.
- Follow all PPE requirements.
- Can work in an outdoor environment (all weather conditions)
- Available to work a flexible schedule, overtime as needed and some Saturdays.
Preferred Experience
- Knowledge of lumber, building materials and/or flooring products.
- Forklift Experience
- Bi-Weekly Pay
- Overtime Eligible
- 40 Hours of PTO Upon Starting
