The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for Retail Sales is responsible for executing a selling strategy for Walmart Inc. Successful candidates will manage key customer relationships including negotiating customer agreements that deliver against internal operating plans and customer expectations.

Represent PepsiCo portfolio of brands at customer

Deliver annual volume, trade spend and profit plan

On-going analysis and review of business trends to identify gaps to plan and execution

Develop annual promotion plan while adhering to Strategic Role of Trade (SROT) guidelines and ensure flawless execution through consistent customer engagement and buy-in

Make regular regional buyer calls, identify customer needs/priorities and creating fact-based selling presentations

Ensure customer maintains a strategic product mix through SKU optimization - both new item sell-in and/or SKU reduction

Work closely with field retail team to ensure strong communication & execution of programs.

Actively participate in customer payment processing including financial contracts, performance and collectionLI-USA

Compensation and Benefits

Expected salary range is $68K - $98K

Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually

Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Previous food and beverage sales experience; preferably with a consumer packaged goods organization

Previous fact-based direct selling experience

Preferred Direct Store Delivery (DSD) experience

Highly motivated individual with excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, conflict and change management, and follow up skills

Solid understanding of financials including P&L impact of sales decisions, strong financial acumen

Proven influence leadership capability with a track record of leading and influencing large multi-level teams

Ability to excel in sales, while providing strong thought leadership and problem-solving skills

Commitment and ability to succeed within a fast-paced organization

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and/or weekends

Must be willing and able to lift 40 lbs. periodically

This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States

Must have a valid driver's license

Safe driving record strongly preferred
