Purpose: The Embroidery OP1 position exists to properly manufacture garments using various hoops & tables and Embroidering machines. The Embroidery OP1 function encompasses all aspects of the embroidering process from needle changes, thread spool replacement, hooping onto various garment tops, bottoms and bags. The Embroidery OP1 will work closely with Embroidery management to follow daily embroidery production priorities, complete orders in a timely manner with the highest possible quality.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible daily, per shift, for ensuring proper graphic placement and graphic sew-out as requested on grid sheets and shown on color copies.
Responsible for correct STAR production and accurate recording onto Embroidery paperwork.
The Embroidery OP1, as directed by the Embroidery OP2, will assist in training new associates on embroidery machine operation, hooping and paperwork.
Responsible for exceptional cleanliness of Embroidery machine sewing areas. All areas are to be clean prior to shifts’ end.
Responsible for communicating any issues regarding individual embroidery machine heads and logo placement on garments.
Responsible for maintaining the highest quality on all items produced.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma required, post-secondary education preferred
Minimum 1 year previous applicable experience preferred
