The Promotions Manager for the Blue Rocks is responsible for developing unique promotional and theme night schedule that will span the entire 66 game home schedule. He or she will develop a daily game day script and distribute it to all game day employees and ensure that each game runs smoothly.

Primary job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Organize a unique promotional schedule for all home games
Assist in developing a daily game overview or script that is distributed to all staff members
Ensure that all game day activities, especially on-field activities, run smoothly
Ensure all games start on time and in-game entertainment runs in a timely manner
Confirm all sponsors are properly recognized for their sponsorships
Assist with marketing and social media elements as needed
Track all sponsored in-game events
Compile weekly reports to ensure all contracted sponsorship elements are fulfilled
Schedule National Anthems for home games, including auditions and playoffs
Negotiate with local and national vendors to order promotional giveaways while ensuring the team receives the lowest price and stays within budget
Execute promotional elements in-game, on field, ensure fans come for baseball but stay for the entertainment, giveaways and fun!
Create and design annual donation report
Occasional on-field emcee

40 hours per week in the off-season
70-80 hours per week during the season

Working indoors for most office hours
Outside in the elements for games
Fast paced environment with ability to think quickly and communicate well
Organized to ensure deadlines are met

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree
1-2 years sports experience
