We are currently seeking a Card Services Dispute Manager. In this role, you'll be responsible for directing the Card Services Disputes staff and daily operations, fraud controls of ATM, Debit, and Credit Cards, and developing, monitoring, and interpreting fraud/dispute reports ensuring adequate performance of programs. You will participate in risk and fraud mitigation strategies and coordinate card projects for process improvements to improve the member services experience. You'll be responsible for motivating, informing, educating, developing, and coaching staff to ensure financial objectives and service standards are met. You will work closely with leaders across the organization to improve processes and member service related to card fraud and disputed transactions.
To thrive in this role, you should have three to five years of similar or related card experience. This position is equal parts leading a team and supporting of daily operations of Card Disputes. This might be the role for you if you enjoy working in a role requiring lots of contact with others, problem-solving, and process improvement.
Here are some key skills and experience that will help you be successful in the first six months

  • Experience in all facets of Card Services to ensure cross-functional support to the department as a whole.
  • Experience in Dispute processing/regulation, debit card transaction processing, and Credit Card payments.
  • Possesses extensive knowledge of the following: VISA/Mastercard products and operating/processing systems, ATM system operations, Point of Sale (POS) operations, and debit card system operations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial institution operational procedures and compliance, particularly those affecting card services.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to work with multiple levels of the organization. Development, performance management, training, and employee counseling skills essential
  • Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive innovative strategies and implement them in a timely, effective manner.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and proactively communicate.
  • Experienced in MS Office programs including Excel, Word, Outlook, and all internal systems as affiliated with the department.
