Denver Human Services provides assistance benefits and protection and prevention services to one in three Denver residents. Assistance programs include food, cash and medical benefits, child care, child support, employment first, veterans' services and general assistance for eligible Denver residents. Protection & Prevention services are provided via child, youth and adult protection, along with community-focused programming, including in-home services, designed to strengthen families and prevent future occurrences of abuse or neglect.

We work to prevent abuse by providing education, resources, and support to parents, families, and community organizations.
Denver Human Services is seeking a dedicated, passionate, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join the System Support team of the Child Welfare Division as a System Support Operations Assistant. In this role, you will provide technical support to Child Welfare staff for the various programs used within the division and serve as a lead for the System Support team.
Overall, the System Support Operations Assistant will:
Provide support to Trails users, including:
Troubleshooting problems and submit tickets
Advising on the best course of action for entering data into Trails
Training users on how to navigate the system, both teaching classes and providing hands on one-on-one support
Monitor the Trails Help Desk line and perform password resets
Serve as backup for the System Support Administrator on the County Trails User Group
Provide backup support for all staff members on the team, specifically for data share requests and onboarding/revocations of staff
Provide training for system updates to all Child Welfare staff
Perform other duties as assigned

Education requirement: Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate.
Experience Requirement: Three (3) years of clerical experience at the type and level of an Administrative Support Assistant IV.
Education/Experience Equivalency: Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirement.
License/Certifications: Requires a valid Driver's License at the time of application.
