Methodist Rehabilitation Center has an immediate opening for a PRN (As Needed) Receptionist to support our Outpatient Services Department on East Campus.

BASIC FUNCTION

Provide telephone and scheduling support to Outpatient Services, and as time allows, provides clerical support to the Director of Outpatient Services. Provides support services and carries out clerical duties in the department as needed. This is a highly visible position and includes daily patient interaction, message taking, patient scheduling, reception, etc. Position is responsible for seeing that patients receive therapy(s) in a timely manner by maintaining an efficient and coordinated check-in process.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma, and;
AA degree in Business/Technology/Secretarial Science or equivalent and;
One year secretarial experience preferred with good computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology;
Outstanding phone and customer service skills are a must in this position

Shift: Varies depending on need
