As a part of Delta Air Lines Operations Strategy and Solutions Team, you will act as a Company-wide consultant, locating and scoping business opportunities while coordinating the work of decision science teams to solve operations problems and add value. In this position you will design and stand-up processes that are sustainable and integrate with newly developed or in development solutions. You will be expected to calibrate system level priorities while recognizing interdependencies across teams. The right candidate will have proven experience managing projects, be comfortable working through ambiguity, and can manage conflicting interests towards a common goal.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Engages with internal clients to determine business needs for product implementation and integration
Assists departmental management, senior leadership, and teams throughout the project and during integration of recommended changes
Presents and communicates project progress and outcomes at all levels in the organization in a professional and effective manner
Works with large datasets, analyzes data for crucial takeaways, capable of translating opportunity to business value, and presents findings in a visually concise manner
Drive trust and respect, establish relationships, and develop rapport with technical and non-technical team members
Drive adoption and change management through close collaboration with operations teams
Foster a culture of open/honest communication, transparency, and accountability
Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles
Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Experience in project management, engineering, business, process improvement, or related field required
Experience in managing complex processes within cross-functional teams
Must be a highly motivated, self-directed creative problem solver and possess strong
organizational skills with a record of sound business acumen
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, positive attitude, and able to manage change successfully in a fast-paced environment
Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc. What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
Experience delivering new products / processes with business adoption, and process improvement experience (e.g., Theory of Constraints, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) preferred
Proven ability to influence without authority and work in a matrix environment
Excellent analytical, statistical analysis, project management and problem-solving skills coupled with a passion for data-driven solutions
Experience in managing complex processes within cross-functional teams
