How you'll contribute
- Travels to unit as assigned
- Greets and guide patients and visitors
- Obtain and confirm patient demographics; updates patient profile
- Collect payment and/or assist patient with minor billing concerns
- Scan pertinent information into EMR system (HIPPA compliance, authorizations, medical records, etc.)
- Answers non-medical inquiries
- Special projects as needed
Who you are
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year office experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Deadline and detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task in a high-volume and high-stress atmosphere
- Ability to communicate and work efficiently with patients, co-workers, and providers
- Preferred Qualifications:
- EMR experience a plus
- OB/GYN or medical office experience a plus
