POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
The Vendor Relations Representative is responsible for facilitating rebates for Marco’s IT, Audio/Video, Voice and Copier/Printer products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.Submit rebates to include reviewing orders to determine available rebates, completing rebate requirements and insuring payment is received.
2. Assist with IT vendor certifications.
3. Facilitate other vendor programs including but not limited to:

  • Deal Registration opportunities (APC, Barracuda, Cisco, Citrix, Commvault, EMC, HPE, HPI, IBM, Lenovo, Meraki, Mitel, Sophos, St. Bernard, Symantec, Unitrends, Veeam & VMWare)
  • Financial coding of rebates in GL
  • State contract and vendor sales history reporting
4. Facilitate sales lead programs.
5. Attend QBR meetings with strategic vendors.
6. Attend various training sessions to stay current and relevant with vendor program management.
7. Manage the claim reimbursement process of various MDF programs (HPI, HPE, VMWare, Veeam, Cisco, Barracuda, etc.)
8. Track revenue thresholds for strategic vendors to assist with rebate budgeting/forecasting.
9. Facilitate IT technical and sales certifications, including sending notices of expirations, coordinating scheduling, completing enrollment and confirming attendance.
10. Submit special pricing big deal request for IT Sales Representatives.
11. Accurately maintain and comply with documentation and administrative procedures in a timely basis to include time entry.
12. Attend required company and departmental meetings.
13. Perform other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION
High school diploma and 2+ years of experience or Associates Degree

EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 years previous related experience

Required Skills
Proficiency with business collaboration tools including MS Office applications, Outlook, vendor software and company specific programs and a high level of internet proficiency
Superior internal and external customer service and communication skills
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate and detailed reports
Ability to identify errors and make proper corrections
Excellent organizational and time/task management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work within a defined timeline and to operate with changing priorities
Function collaboratively as part of a fast-paced, client orientated department
Self-starter with the ability to perform with little or no supervision
Strong ability to exercise independent judgment and critical thinking
Strong research and development abilities
