Product Management Senior Advisor, Complexity Management

What you’ll achieve

As Marketing Operations Sr. Advisor, you will be one of an elite group of analysts supporting Client Product Group’s complexity management effort. You will be squarely focused on helping Dell achieve industry-leading product, supply chain and services simplicity, while investing in the right variety of commodities to win in the marketplace. Under the guidance of the Sr. Manager of Complexity Management, you would support analytical projects which help simplify product offerings and reduce costs associated with supply chain complexity. In addition to analytics, the Marketing Operations Sr. Advisor is also responsible for influencing a broad spectrum of functions and helping support and shape world-class complexity governance processes and tools.

You will:

• Support development of commodity and offer catalogs under Complexity Management process
• Influence strategy and decision making around good/unnecessary complexity.
• Support with data pull and analysis for catalog creation, design to leverage and other initiatives
• Active participation in ongoing complexity process improvement.
• Support implementation and evolution of necessary tools and infrastructure to improve team efficacy and business planning

Essential Requirements

• Advanced analytical and business problem solving skills, including financial analysis and ability to translate quantitative data into actionable recommendations.
• Strong verbal and presentation skills and ability to negotiate effectively.
• Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of analytical tools (JMP, Tableau, etc.).
• Ability to navigate and influence multiple functions and levels (including those outside of PC PG marketing).
• Ability to translate business objectives into goals and measurements.

Desirable Requirements

• 5+ years of marketing experience, ideally product planning or marketing operations.
• BA or BS required / MBA preferred.
